# Expiration of Stellar 1.0/1.1 Root Certificate in ActiveUpdate (AU) Module

### Summary

The Signature Checking Root Certificate in ActiveUpdate (AU) Module will expire in September 2025. After the Root Certificate expires, the Signature Check feature will fail, leading to ActiveUpdate failure.

#### **Solution**

Updating StellarOne, StellarProtect and StellarEnforce V1.0/V1.1 to V1.2 (or later versions) would renew the Signature Checking Root Certificate in AU Module, which would prevent the above issue. Please refer to the product documents for details.
