Affected Version(s)

Product Affected Version(s)
Safe Lock TXOne Edition All versions running a PHP version earlier than the fixed versions listed in the Solution section

Solution

  1. Check the PHP version by running the following command:

    php -v

  2. Update PHP based on the version shown by following PHP security advisory.

    Component Fixed Version(s)
    PHP 8.5 8.5.12 or later
    PHP 8.4 8.4.27 or later
    PHP 8.3 8.3.36 or later
    PHP 8.2 8.2.35 or later

    Note: If you are using PHP 8.1 or earlier, upgrade to one of the versions listed above.

  3. Until the update is completed, apply the following mitigations to reduce the risk of exploitation:

    a. In php.ini, set:

    memory_limit = -1
    session.upload_progress.enabled = 0

    b. Restart IIS to apply the changes.

  4. After the PHP update, some Dashboard pages may not display correctly. Safe Lock protection functions are not affected. To resolve this display issue, upgrade to Safe Lock TXOne Edition V1.1 Hotfix - Build 8023.

    Note: Upgrading Safe Lock TXOne Edition does not update PHP. PHP must be updated separately as described in step 2.
