# StellarOne 3.3 Upgrade Checklist

This checklist outlines the mandatory pre-upgrade requirements for moving StellarOne from version 3.2.5 to 3.3.

### **Details**

#### **Version Requirement**

- Confirm that the system is already running StellarOne 3.2.5.
- Upgrades from earlier versions are not allowed.

#### **Mandatory Backup**

- Perform a full system + database backup.
- Backup is required to prevent data loss if an upgrade failure occurs.

Note: System and database data are stored on the second disk. Ensure backup covers both.

#### **Disk Space Requirements**

- OS Disk (1st HDD):
  - At least 15 GB free space.
  - Total disk size must be ≥ 35 GB.
- 2nd HDD:
  - System partition: ≥ 5 GB free.
  - Database partition: ≥ 30% free.
  - Confirm that disk tiers follow supported mappings.

#### **Memory Requirements**

Minimum memory = 8 GB (for ≤ 3 years retention). Retention-based requirements:

- 4 years – 9 GB
- 5 years – 10 GB
- 6 years – 11 GB
- 7 years – 12 GB
- 8 years – 13 GB
- 9 years – 14 GB
- 10 years – 15 GB

#### **Migration & System Health Checks**

- Confirm Agent Event migration from pre-3.1 versions is completed.
- Verify system health (no abnormal database tables).

#### **Troubleshooting Preparedness**

- Prepare support contact in case of:
  - Database table abnormalities
  - Database upgrade failure during firmware upgrade

#### **Final Pre-Upgrade Check**

- Backup validated.
- Disk + memory requirements met.
- System version confirmed at 3.2.5.
- All services operational before initiating the upgrade.
- Ready to upload and install StellarOne 3.3 firmware.
