#### **Virtual Portable Inspector (vPI)**

Virtual Portable Inspector (vPI) provides a software-based alternative to Portable Inspector, allowing malware scanning and asset information collection without requiring a physical USB device. It is intended for environments where USB devices are restricted or prohibited while maintaining centralized management through ElementOne.

### **Requirements**

****Windows LTSC Identification Support****

- Virtual Portable Inspector version 1.0.1104
- ElementOne version 1.31.2 or later

### **Recommended Action**

Customers planning to deploy Virtual Portable Inspector should upgrade to ElementOne version 1.31.2 or later before deploying vPI to ensure compatibility.
