Details

TXOne Stellar Series Version 3.0 Service Pack 1 provides the following new features and enhancements.

StellarProtect 3.0 Service Pack 1 / StellarProtect (Legacy Mode) 3.0 Service Pack 1

• Script Behavior functionality for StellarProtect (Legacy Mode)

• Application Behavior functionality enhancements for StellarProtect (Legacy Mode)

• Timestamp of last components update now available on the GUI

• Spyware detection enhancement

   

StellarOne (Management Server) version 3.0 Service Pack 1

• New widgets for monitoring Cyber-Physical System Detection and Response (CPSDR)

• Disk space management

• Script Behavior functionality for StellarProtect (Legacy Mode)

• Application Behavior functionality enhancements for StellarProtect (Legacy Mode)

• API enhancements

• Timestamp of last components update now available on the GUI

   

Recommended Action
Stellar Series version 3.0 Service Pack 1 supports upgrading starting only from Stellar Series version 2.0 and above. It is strongly recommended to take a snapshot or create a backup of the virtual instance file first, before executing a system migration. For more details, please refer to the installation guide.
 
Managed Scenario
StellarOne version 3.0 Service Pack 1 supports upgrading firmware directly from version 2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 via web console. For other versions, please migrate to StellarOne version 2.0 first (you can find the supported upgrade path table below). Deploy the new StellarOne virtual instance with the same IP address and attach it to the previous instance's second disk (to migrate, be sure to also transfer previously configured settings, account information, policies, and events).
 
Though StellarOne 3.0 requires more external disk capacity to use the advanced Operations Behavior Anomaly Detection feature, make sure you upgrade StellarOne to 3.0 before increasing the 2nd disk space to optimize disk usage.

After upgrading StellarOne, users can upload new Stellar agent patches via web console and upgrade agents remotely by following policy.
 
Standalone Scenario
For the agents installed in standalone mode with no management server in place, users can download the new Stellar agent patches from the download center and apply them directly.
 
Supported Agent Versions
Though StellarOne provides backward compatibility to support agents with earlier versions, new features or enhanced functionality may not be applicable on some agents with earlier versions.
