ElementOne version 1.27.1 has officially been released and is now available.
Important Information
- ElementOne 1.27.0 or later requires Portable Inspector version 1.0.1094 or later for full functionality.
- After upgrading ElementOne, users can upgrade managed Portable Inspector devices to version 1.0.1094 to ensure pattern updates and log uploads work correctly.
New Features
- Introduced unified device grouping to manage Portable Inspector and Safe Port devices in a single Device List.
- Enabled full group management: you can now create, rename, remove, ungroup, and assign devices.
- Enabled direct configuration of device and group policies from the Device List.
- Enabled editing of group and device policies directly from the Device List page.
- Added role-based access for group supervisors and viewers to manage Safe Port devices and groups.
- Enabled group-based access to Safe Port scan logs with role-based permissions.
- Asset Management Enhancements
- Added asset-centric view to track full asset history and compare with a baseline.
- Supports viewing the same asset's historical records multiple times.
- Enabled asset identification rules via vShell.
- Added baseline comparison (manual or automatic).
- Introduced comparison view for vulnerabilities, configuration changes, and threats.
- Supports exporting reports with highlighted differences.
Safe Port Policy Updates
- Added support for Reset Disk, Secure File Transfer, and Scan Restriction settings. (From Safe Port 1.0.1046).
Enhancements
- Removed warning banner when ElementConnect disk is not installed.
- Added UNC path support in scan configuration and exclusions.
- Renamed “Enable CVE detection” to “Enable exploit detection” with updated tooltip.
