ElementOne version 1.29.0 has officially been released and is now available.

New Features

  • Portable Inspector Asset Collection Settings
    • Asset collection settings for Portable Inspector are now configurable through Device and Group Policy. (Supported from Portable Inspector 1.0.1098)
    • Added the option to collect asset info during scanning under Scan Options.
  • Enhanced Auto Start Settings
    • Auto Start configuration now allows administrators to select whether Portable Inspector automatically starts scanning or collecting asset information when launched.Added a configurable countdown option before the selected action begins.

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed an issue where group supervisors encountered a 403 error when adding devices, which caused device port information to display incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue where group supervisors could not see the Add Device button on the Portable Inspector and Safe Port tabs.
  • Fixed an issue where OpenAPI policy query endpoints returned the fts_enabled field even when no Portable Inspector license with Fab Tool Scan (FTS) capability was available.
  • Fixed an issue where the RESULT column in exported asset reports displayed incorrect information.
  • Fixed an issue where users were not automatically logged out after inactivity because Safe Port malware scan approval status requests refreshed the session.

  • Fixed an issue where group supervisors saw device ports displayed as 0 when adding Portable Inspector or Safe Port devices.
  • Fixed an issue where group viewers could modify Safe Port Device Policy settings.
  • Fixed an issue where invalid scan target or exclusion paths could be configured in Portable Inspector policies.
