The release of TXOne SageOne version 2.1 introduces expanded capabilities for vulnerability detection, Asset Insights, and OpenAPI support. This update also delivers important enhancements to the primary dashboard, Security Posture dashboard, and syslog forwarding. With these improvements, SageOne strengthens on-premises vulnerability management and streamlines security operations.

New Features

  • VDS Pattern Management (Pro license required):

    • Activate updates manually or on a schedule.
    • Update and import a pattern file from the web.
    • After a new pattern is installed, a vulnerability scan starts automatically.
      • Location: Settings → System Updates → VDS Pattern.

  • One-Day Vulnerabilities Action Required Ticket Category (Pro license required):

    • Track and manage urgent and severe vulnerabilities requiring immediate action.
    • Review all affected assets per CVE.
      • Location: Primary Dashboard.

  • Vulnerability Email Notifications:

    • Configure recipients to receive vulnerability detection notifications.
    • Set severity thresholds (e.g., Medium or above).
      • Location: Settings → Notifications → Email (Global).

  • New Asset Insights Categories (Pro license required):

    • Risk Alert: Triggered when an asset's risk level increases.
    • New Application: Triggered when a new application is detected.
      • Location: Security Posture → Asset Insights.

  • OpenAPI Support:

    • Now supports asset management, health checks, and vulnerability APIs. Refer to SageOne OpenAPI (1.0) for full details.

Updates

  • Vulnerability Management: Now runs strictly on-premises, requiring an installed VDS pattern.
  • Primary Dashboard: Updated to emphasize high-level indicators for security posture, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Security Posture Dashboard: Displays asset trends, Asset Life Cycle view, and consolidated indicators under Risk Level, Asset Protection, and Health Status tabs.
  • Syslog Forwarding: Now includes Action Required and Asset Insights categories.
