Details
TXOne Stellar Series Version 3.2 provides the following new features and enhancements.
StellarOne (Management Server) Version 3.2
- Network access control and monitoring (StellarProtect only)
- Enhanced external device management
- Ability to transfer agents to another StellarOne server
- Manual component updates
- Support for multiple syslog servers
- Component updates from an update pool
- New Dashboard and Situational Awareness pages
- TXOne component update
StellarProtect 3.2 / StellarProtect (Legacy Mode) 3.2
- Multi-threat prevention remains active after the license expires
- Expanded CLI configuration options
- TXOne component updates
Recommended Action
Stellar Series Version 3.2 supports upgrades only from Stellar Series Version 2.0 and above. It is strongly recommended to take a snapshot or create a backup of the virtual instance file before executing a system migration. For more details, please refer to the installation guide.
Managed Scenario
StellarOne Version 3.2 supports direct firmware upgrades from Version 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 3.0, 3.0 Service Pack 1, 3.1, 3.1 Patch 1, and 3.1 Patch 2 via the web console.
For other versions, first migrate to StellarOne Version 2.0 (you can find the supported upgrade path table below). To migrate, deploy a new StellarOne virtual instance with the same IP address and attach it to the previous instance's second disk. Be sure to also transfer previously configured settings, account information, policies, and events to migrate successfully.
Since StellarOne Version 3.2 requires more external disk capacity to support the advanced Operations Behavior Anomaly Detection feature, upgrade StellarOne to Version 3.2 to optimize disk usage before increasing the second disk’s capacity.

After upgrading StellarOne, users can upload new Stellar agent patches via the web console and remotely upgrade agents by following the designated policy.
Standalone Scenario
For agents installed in standalone mode with no management server in place, users can download the new Stellar agent patches from the Download Center and apply them directly.
Supported Agent Versions
Though StellarOne provides backward compatibility to support agents with earlier versions, new features or enhanced functionality may not be applicable to some agents with earlier versions.
