Some of the new features and enhancements of TXOne Stellar Series version 2.2 are listed below. Please refer to the ReadMe file or product documents for the complete list and details.
StellarProtect version 2.2 / StellarProtect (Legacy Mode) version 1.5
- Operations table added to Console GUI
- Role-based administration enhancement
- Real-time scan functionality enhancement
StellarOne (Management Server) version 2.2
- Enhanced dashboard
- Added lockdown features for StellarProtect
- Agent’s user password management
- Policy sync interval is available after agent versions of StellarProtect legacy mode 1.5.1051 & StellarProtect 2.2.1043.
- CPU usage setting for scheduled scan and scan now
- Time sync with NTP
- Enhanced email security
- New update command button- Apply Policies.
- New update command button for StellarProtect – Check Connection
Recommended Action
Stellar Series version 2.2 supports upgrading only from Stellar Series version 1.2 and above. It is strongly recommended to take a snapshot or create a backup of the virtual instance file first before executing a system migration. For more details, please refer to the installation guide.
Managed Scenario
- StellarOne version 2.2 supports firmware upgrading directly from version 2.0/ 2.1 via web console. For other versions, please migrate to StellarOne version 1.2 first and then deploy the new StellarOne virtual instance with the same IP address and attach previous instance's second disk (to migrate, be sure to also transfer previously configured settings, account information, policies, and events).
- After upgrading StellarOne, users can upload new Stellar agent patches via web console and upgrade agents remotely by following policy.
Standalone Scenario
- For the agents installed in standalone mode with no management server in place, users can download the new Stellar agent patches from the download center and apply them directly.
